Minji Yi

Minji Yi began her dance training competitively in before joining the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater’s pre-professional program during her sophomore year of high school. Her training encompasses Horton, Graham, ballet, and contemporary techniques, complemented by intensive summer study at Joffrey Ballet School and Ailey’s Junior Division. She has performed in productions including Ailey’s January Explosion, First Steps, Interlocken Show, and Spring performances. Originally from New York City and a member of the Class of 2030, Minji plans to pursue studies in the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton.
