Taylor Yamashita

Taylor Yamashita is class of 2024 from the San Francisco Bay Area. She is currently pursuing a major in Operations Research and Financial Engineering, with a certificate in Japanese Language and Culture. Taylor began dancing when she was three years old, and has trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and even a bit of tap. She has danced competitively for eight years, and was a member of her studio’s ballet company for four years. On campus, she is also a member of diSiac Dance Company. In her free time, Taylor enjoys listening to classic rock and alternative music, watching Studio Ghibli films, and hanging out with friends.
